■ 전시 취지

 

 

  비채아트뮤지엄은 20세기 미술의 거장 파블로 피카소의 회고전을 오는 5월 1일부터 8월 29일까지 예술의전당 한가람미술관에서 전시되고 있다.

 

  파리 국립피카소미술관 소장의 걸작 110여점으로 구성된 이번 전시는 국내 최대 규모의 피카소 진품 명화전으로 서양미술의 역사를 바꾼 입체주의 탄생부터 70년 

만에 처음으로 국내에 소개되는 〈한국에서의 학살〉, 그리고 말년의 작품까지 70년에 걸친 피카소 예술의 흐름을 연대기적 테마를 통해 보여주는 전시이다. 

  서양미술사의 독보적 예술가 피카소의 모든 것을 한자리에 볼 수 있는 이번 전시는 그의 신화 속으로 여행하는 뜻 깊은 기회가 될 것으로 보인다.

 

■ Exhibition Purpose

 

 

Vichae Art Museum is proud to present the retrospective exhibition of Pablo Picasso, the master of 20^th Century Art. The exhibition will be open from 1^st May until 29^th August at Hangaram Art Museum, Seoul Arts Center.

 

 

Exhibiting 110 original masterpieces from Musée National Picasso-Paris, this exhibition will be one of the largest exhibitions of Picasso’s works in Korea. 

The exhibition will feature works in chronological themes that span across 

70 years of the master’s artistic career. Starting from works of Cubism, an art movement that became a pivotal turning point of Western art, to Massacre en Corée, which will be shown for the first time in 70 years since its creation to the Korean audience, the exhibition concludes with works created in the final years of the artist’s life.

 

 

This exhibition will be a voyage into the myth of the artist where the audience

 will be able to experience and enjoy every aspect of Picasso, one of the

 greatest masters of Western art.

이번 전시회에선 배우 이정진 씨가 재능기부 작품 해설을 하였다. 

오디오 해설을 맡은 피카소 전시회는 6·25전쟁 참상을 담은 폭 2m의 대작 

<한국에서의 학살>(1951) 등 피카소의 유화, 조각, 도자기 등 다채로운 장르의 화제작 110여 점으로 구성되었다.

 

 

In this exhibition, actor Lee Jung-jin commented on the talent donation work. The Picasso exhibition, which is an audio commentator, consists of 110 works of various genres, including Picasso's oil paintings, sculptures and ceramics, including the 2-meter-wide masterpiece "The Massacre in Korea" (1951).

 

본 전시는 8월 29일까지 한다.
